RULES - Penalties for Team Rule Infractions
The penalties for rule infractions are organized into several tiers.
Level I - Minor infractions. No punishment; more than 2 Level I infractions on the same rule lead to a level II infraction.
Example: Giving minor hints about previews when you're not either a team leader, or a member heavily involved in that area of research.
Level II - Moderate infractions. May result in a banning lasting no longer than one month. More than 2 of these may lead to a Level III infraction, depending on the circumstances.
Example: Spoiling the next preview faction when you're not either a team leader, or a member heavily involved in that area of research; significant edits to other members' posts without indicating such.
Level III - Major violations of code of conduct. Results in a banning lasting from three to six months. More than one of these can lead to a Level IV infraction.
Example: Leaking internal conflict; releasing important research to another team.
Level IV - Serious infractions with major consequences both inside the team and in the public sphere. Results in an indefinite suspension - a ban until the team decides to let you back in.
Example: Posting under other team members' accounts to coerce co-operation from other team members.
